Chimérarium - creation 2015 - no longer available

A funny and unusual show for fifteen spectators in a caravan.

1st Jury Prize at Festival Les Tailleurs 2016

You're not in a "house of horrors"-style funfair, or a joke shop. or a joke store.
You're not in a curiosity shop from another century.
You're not in a cellar, in the depths of a forest, or in another space-time.
You won't really be scared, but...

An entresort in a caravan where we learn the strange and (perhaps) true story of an old lady, her little girl and a strange mermaid.

It feels like we're about to enter a funfair. But who is this crazy woman spitting into her megaphone? And who's getting us into this caravan? Are we all going to fit in there? All of a sudden, we "become" somewhere else, as if in a forest, and an old woman (or rather, a puppet) comes to grab us by the throat, where our feelings lie. She thinks she's scaring us, but in fact, she's making us feel very small inside, a little shaky, not from fear, no, perhaps from tenderness? from laughter too? Or humanity? In any case, at the end, we walk out, and the street is no longer the same, it has taken on the taste of another possible story ... what lies behind real existences?

Or: What are we to make of our fantastic imaginations when the world is racing towards its Cartesian apogee?

This creation echoes dreams, philosophy, history and man's beliefs about the possibility of a more fantastic nature. It stands between dream and reality, inviting reflection and tickling the imagination. Superimposing reading grids To leave the audience with even more questions....
